How to go to the conference?

🛬 From Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA):

Go to the airport railway station and take the KA Bandara (towards Stasiun Yogyakarta) to Yogyakarta Station.
From there, take an online taxi (GrabCar or GoCar) directly to Fakultas Adab dan Ilmu Budaya, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, located at Jl. Marsda Adisucipto No. 1, Yogyakarta.
Alternatively, from Yogyakarta Station, walk to Halte Malioboro 1 and take TransJogja (Route 1A or 1B) to Halte UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The faculty is a short walk (around 300 meters) from the bus stop.

✈️ From Adisucipto Airport (JOG):

Take TransJogja (Route 1A or 1B) from Halte Malioboro 1 (10 minutes walk from the station) and get off at Halte UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
You can also take an online taxi (GrabCar or GoCar) directly to Fakultas Adab dan Ilmu Budaya, UIN Sunan Kalijaga.

🚕 Online Transportation:

You may use online ride-hailing platforms such as Grab or Gojek (GrabCar or GoCar) for convenient transportation.
These apps are available for download via Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Prices may vary depending on traffic and distance.

🏨 Where to Stay during the Conference?

There are many hotels and guesthouses near UIN Sunan Kalijaga in areas such as Seturan, Janti, Sudirman, and Laksda Adisucipto Street.

How to do with your visa application?
Please look at the list of the countries that have the visa exemption agreement with Indonesia. If your country is included in the list, you usually do not need to apply for an entry visa to Indonesia. If your country is not included in the list, you need to obtain a visa.

Important information regarding invitation letters (please read): Please note I-LISS Conference and the organizing committee of the conference are not authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the Notification of Invitation Letter issued by I-LISS Conference and conference Committee Board. Should your application be denied, I-LISS Conference and the organizing committee of the conference cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will I-LISS Conference and the organizing committee of the conference engage in discussion or correspondence with the MOFA or the Embassy on behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot be refunded when the VISA application of individual being denied. It takes time for the Embassy to process the VISA application, please register as early as you can to make sure you have enough time.


About Yogyakarta City:

Yogyakarta is the capital city of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, located in the south-central part of Java, Indonesia.
